Items in Enter the Chronosphere come in several forms. Abilities are signature moves tied to your chosen character. Passive items provide always-on bonuses like damage modifiers, speed boosts, or conditional triggers. Gadgets and gear have charges and must be activated or trigger on specific actions. Stabilizer perks modify what happens when you use a stabilizer between floors.
Most items are associated with a specific biome. You’ll find them as rewards on floors themed around that biome. Universal items can appear regardless of biome composition.
